Whatever it is, put it on a kite
And fly it in our Theme Event
No age limit, all in one group.
Rules
1. KITE DEFINITION: A craft
that has no lifting power other than outside air by the force of wind.
2. HOME BUILT KITE: A kite
that is built by the flyer from collected materials.
5. JUDGES RULING: All
decisions of the judges are final.

Skyfest Categories
HOME BUILT KITE: Built by individual or
family and one of them flies it. Novice Flyer & Advanced Flyer.
BEST DECORATED KITE: A flyable kite but judged on beauty only. No
age limit. Home built or bought.
ONE MINUTE SPRINT: Highest flight up from a hand launch after 60
seconds. Home built or bought. Groups: Under age 14; age 15 and older.
MOST UNUSUAL KITE: A flyable kite that flies in a unique or special
way. All types. No age limit.
Theme Event: Kite that best fits "Spring is in the Air."
KID'S ONLY: Best kite using the "spring" theme. Home built only.
Judged on originality, appearance, and craftsmanship. Kite Kraft and
Frankenmuth Toy Co. are sponsors for kite making materials with help on
the day of the Skyfest as supplies last. Two Groups: Under age 9 and ages
10-15. |
